Who let the Dwarves in?

This certainly has a lot of life in it... Each Dwarf might have similar features, big noses and beards and whatnot, but each has a little expressive look that gives them personality and a degree individuality, at least the ones in better detail than the ones further that're part of the background. The dwarf with the helmet trying to catch the mug for some reason makes me laugh the most.

You've got some good shading work here, too... And I'm really liking the general brown, coloring in the whole paper... It has an old-timey feel to it, if I say so myself. I don't normally look at random non-fanart works around here, but seeing a thumbnail with this image made me smile a bit.

Overall, an overview of what I think: Dwarf pictures have been done before, we've all seen some here or there, but yours is certainly fun and expressive to where I don't think many people would care about that. It's got nice detail, but not too much to take away focus from the main characters, and the graduation of more to less detailed was done nicely. There's lots of life, but it's not too busy to be distracting...

Now, I'm not an art connoisseur, I'm just a random member of DeviantArt who can't draw to save his own life, but I hope this feedback can serve its purpose. I will admit though, that perhaps my amateur status makes me wowed by works that're far beyond my abilities. But, just as an average internet user, a demographic I think I represent somewhat, I think we'll be smiling along with you when we see this image all the same.
